OmniAir Elects New Board Members at 9th Annual Meeting

The OmniAir Board met for its 9th Annual Board of Directors Meeting and welcomed new Directors, a new Vice Chair, and also grew the Board of OmniAir Certification Services.  Elected were Eric Redmann of 3M and Chris Body of Kapsch – both to three-year terms.

The Board elected Steve Novosad of ATKINS Global as its new Vice Chair.  Steve joins the Executive Committee which currently consists of Dave Kristick, E-470 Public Highway Authority, who began his 2nd year as Chairman, and Doug Kavner, Raytheon HMTS, who also began his second of a three-year term as Treasurer.  The Secretary is Tim McGuckin, Executive Director of OmniAir and ex-officio Director.

As for OmniAir Certification Services, the Board elected Bob Redding of MTA Bridges & Tunnels to a 3-year term.  Bob Redding complements a group of 4 OCS directors who may be joined by more at OmniAir’s ‘Supplemental Annual Meeting Teleconference’ set to occur in Mid-February.

The next full meeting of the OmniAir Board is tentatively set for May 2013.  The OCS Board is meeting next on January 28th in NYC.
